1 Dec – It’s World AIDS Day, which means that its time for the faithful congregation of the pharmaceutically-fundamentalist AIDS Church to celebrate the suffering and death of those who follow this pagan religion.  Despite being routinely debunked in courtrooms and documentaries like House of Numbers (2009), today’s faithful celebrate the sacramental baptism of HIV tests and the eucharist of psychotropic cocktails.  When promiscuous believers succumb to holy rituals of anonymous anal intercourse, bath houses, circuit parties, poppers, crystal meth, flow cytometry and  AIDS drugs, they are transfigured by congregants just like Jesus Christ.  And if they are really special, they’ll live forever in a quilt or magazine.

Like all great religions, the Church has its own Creed:

I believe in Ryan White, who suffered under toxic doses of AZT, died, was buried, and descended into Hell.  On the third day, he rose again and sitteth at the Ryan White Foundation website to judge the applicants of taxpayer-funded HIV testing and treatment programs throughout the United States.  I believe in the pharmaceutical lord and giver of lifesaving HIV testing and treatment…

Like other major religions, HIV has its own skeptics.

Heretics who fail to genuflect before the bright red pharmaceutical ribbon are reviled by pharmaceutically-funded clerics as DENIALISTS.  Despite the ACLU’s remarkable success at protecting vulnerable Americans from Nativity scenes, they haven’t noticed the state-sponsored religion that supports their own LGBT campaigns.

Anatomy of a Fraud

Thirty years ago, the National Cancer Institute (NCI) and the National Institutes of Health (NIH) came under increasing Congressional pressure to clean up the waste and corruption that characterized their ten-year War on Cancer.  As a result, millions of dollars in research funding (and research jobs) were threatened.

Within days, CDC epidemiologist Wayne Shandara reported that five homosexual men in their 20s and 30s were stricken by a pneumonia that ordinarily strikes cancer and transplant patients that could be related to “the inhalants commonly used in the gay community to heighten sexual feeling…”  Said Shandera, “The best we can say is that somehow the pneumonia appears to be related to gay life style.”  A year later, the CDC reported that of 57 cases they examined, all of the victims were homosexual (86%) and bi-sexual (14%) men and that (among them), the “use of drugs such as nitrite inhalants, marijuana, hallucinogens, and cocaine was common.”

When Life Magazine published David Kirby’s photograph in 1990, amfAR co-founder Joseph Sonnabend MD discovered the marketing scam immediately:

One day one of the networks had received a press release from us, and the press release said that heterosexual AIDS is about to happen, that straight men are going to drop in droves… And I said that’s B.S. where’d you get that from?  It was a total fraud and scam. It was a fundraising ploy… but it was so efficient that it resulted in a LIFE Magazine cover which said ‘No one is safe from AIDS.’ … Once he put out this scare, the money started to flow. It really did.

In 2007, HIV-discoverer Luc Montagnier admitted that HIV can be cured within a few weeks but that the pharmaceutical industry pushes drugs and vaccines because the industry cannot profit from clean water and good nutrition.

Since 2009, the pharmaceutical industry has paid $10 billion to settle thousands of criminal and civil complaints related to the illegal marketing of drugs that kill or injure 2-4 million Americans, ANNUALLY – paying millions of dollars in kickbacks and bribes to clinicians that unnecessarily prescribe deadly drugs to healthy patients.  The leading US HIV testing laboratories – Quest Diagnostics and LabCorp – have paid millions of dollars to settle allegations of fraud and using unapproved testing devices.

By any definition, an industry that kills and injures for profit can be characterized as a “criminal enterprise” – so why would any sentient being accept a religion they invented? 

Despite the overwhelming evidence that HIV and AIDS is a pseudoscientific scam, news organizations continue to promote it, while spiking stories like this and panning documentaries like House of Numbers.

Nevertheless, in the spirit of this festive day, I wish the faithful believers a Happy World AIDS Day – just don’t drink the Kool-Aid!
